The Long Island GTO Club hosted their "Car B Que" at Crab Meadow Beach in Northport on May 18th 2008,
and it was a great show . . . until The MotorMouths showed up . . .
just in time for the overcast skies, and eventually the rain

Here are some of the pics taken from the show . . . just before the cameras floated away.

Let's start with the official "Car B Que" Banner . . .

The MotorMouhts Chris & Ray
with your host, Amy Perciballi
President of the Long Island GTO Club.

Will you look at that sky?!

Here's Ray & Chris with - no other than - Mr. "Top 40 Radio" Mike "Smokin" Simms.

For some crazy reason, Amy asked us to actually be part of the judging team for the event . . . which would explain the blue shirts.

I don't think we've actually sseen so many trophies in one spot!

The "MotorMouth Radio Pick" trophy is in there somewhere . . .

That's "Long Island's Oldies Princess"
Kayla Starr
"wowing the crowd" with some Patsy Kline, up on stage.

The "MotorMouth Radio Pick" trophy is around here somewhere . . .

Oh, here it is!

The MotorMouths even got to do some trophy presenting up on stage with Amy Perciballi.

Here's Ray informing the crowd that there's a '52 DeSoto in the parking lot with it's lights on.

Here are The MotorMouths persenting the "MotorMouth Radio Pick" Trophy to
Mr. Steve Bender, with the '58 Chevrolet Pick-Up Truck. . . .
. . .and here's a shot of his truck.
It looked great from the back, too.

There were some other nice cars at the show, as well.

Here's a nice '70 Road Runner that was just minutes away from getting rained on.

A very nice '65 Mustang Fastback, with cool American Racing Wheels was withstanding the raindrops, as well.

This has got to be the work of Steve Shepherd of Steve's Collision in Port Jefferson Station NY.

It takes guts to do stuff like this . . .

The back is just as outrageous as the front!

Last year's Car B Que only brought one Pontiac Solstice . . . this year show was a different story.
