Every
once in a while Ray - forgetting that radio is NOT a visual medium - decides
to stroll in with some kind of car part to show off. In the past they
have been as small as nuts and bolts, to as large as front fenders.
Here's
what he decided to show off today . . .
| |
Today
Ray is stumping Chris with a transmission bell housing for his '65 GTO
that all kinds of offset whirly-gigs to clear the monster headers that
he'll eventually get a chance to finally install . . .
That's
if the car ever see the light of day.

Ray
explains how Brian Higgins from S & K Speed scoured through acres
of assorted bell housings using only a torch, and a pitchfork to finally
arrive at this glorious gem.
Chris
is - as usual - nothing but amazed . . .
| |
| |
As
Ray basks in the glow of the new found gem, Chris states his true feelings
when his
co-host isn't looking.

Another
part Ray needed to show off on MotorMouth Radio was this magnificently
re-built Fiat alternator, which was getting ready to run off the counter
as he spoke.
| |
| |
Look
at the glee on Chris' face as he endlessly spins the alternator pulley,
providing hours of entertainment.
Now
this is something Chris can relate to.
| |
It's
almost like a mama and her little baby . . . they even look alike.
I'm
so proud.
